The could minimize Rebecca's involvement and come up with a better setting. As you said the same could happen with RE0. This could work in RE5 or even 6 if they play their cards right. They seem to want to change the story of RE4 and make it more horror based. They follower the action and stealth norm of the day that I could not stand. With the Leon and Ada portion looked like they wanted to please older fans and it kind of works, however I never truly enjoyed Chris or Sherry. On the other hand I did not find RE6 that bad. Way action focused and a bizarre final battle that would be more suitable to a Superman game or something. I never got why they ditched the horror elements to create another adventure-shooter that they were already a lot of them. I have never tried a VR game.Īs for RE4 I know that it is a popular game, but I did not like it that much.

Obviously the PS5 was the best experience but you could not go wrong with any of them. If the Steam Deck can play RE4 Remake so can the aging platforms. However they should stay clear of 5 and 6 and pretend like they never existed. It would be neat if they remade 0 too….but only if they rewrote the story and ditched Rebecca 👀👌 Still, Capcom has been on a winning streak since RE7 and I’m sure they’d revamp the hell out of CV and make it darker and scary while omitting or correcting all of the glaring flaws of the Original. The game ultimately was outsourced and wasn’t done fully in house like the previous PS1 trilogy and it shows. That aside, CV’s polygon based environments have aged terribly, the character models are stiffer as ever, the gore was toned down considerably compared to 3, frikkin STEVE Burnside need I say more, every time I hear Claire’s voice all I can think about is Lunette the clown from the big comfy couch, the plot was a little too out there and the 2nd half of the game was a total letdown(Antarctic says hi). I think the high lite of CV were the facial expressions and detail of the characters and how the camera wasn’t stationary/fixed, along with the more cinematic cut scenes. Although, CV didn’t come close to 1&2, and even 3 imo.
